May. 14th, 2015 02:56 pmFace came out of the showers, whistling cheerfully. One towel wrapped around his waist, he dried his hair with another. Having read up on the controls during the week, he was certain he'd do better in his driving class today.
His whistling took on a strange, warbling tone. Frowning, Face tried whistling again.
Shortly thereafter, a large brown and grey songbird exited the bathroom and stalked down the corridor, its long, frond-like tail-feathers held over its head like an umbrella, making a noise remarkably similar to the school bell between other vocalisations.
